Draft Synopsis

Some ghosts don’t haunt — they hunt.

Nathan Cole’s true-crime podcast was once a source of pride and profit. Now, the listeners have dwindled, sponsors have abandoned him, and the well of original stories has run dry.

By pure chance, Nathan then stumbles upon a forgotten Met Police file labelled Operation Haverstock. Inside lies the perfect comeback story that could save his floundering podcast: a man murdered fifty years ago, a potentially corrupt detective, and a forgotten suspect known only as C-17.

As Nathan’s research drags him deeper into the story, unknown forces push back. Someone isn’t happy that a podcaster is warming up the coldest of cold cases. It’s at that point Nathan encounters a stranger by the name of Clement – a foul-mouthed giant of a man who appears to knows an awful lot about the case. Almost too much.

As the stakes rise, Nathan must choose between saving his podcast and surviving his story. Clement, however, appears to have his own agenda, and he’s hell bent on achieving it, whatever the cost.
